2yrs and a half old girl hit-and-run in China dies..

I made some amendments on the fact of this story which posted earlier. Actually the kid didn't die on 13th of Oct as reported in a Beijing newspaper. The kid died on 20th of Oct.

I don't even know this little girl and i have nothing to do with her but the way she died or the cause of her death was very tragic and really gave an impact in ones' heart..

She's a very sweet little girl..

Yue-Yue with her mother, known as Madam Qu

Sweet little girl
Can't imagine how this little girl was suffering and fighting for her life in 3 days critical coma. Looking at her condition, i think to die is better for her. God knows everything. She's still a little girl, no sins at all.

Pity mother; have to face cruel criticism by people who blame her for bringing shame to China and its people through her "carelessness". China's culture and Chinese behavior are pretty weird. The mother became the main cause and blamed meanwhile to the eye of the world based on the scene captured in CCTV, there are a lot more cruelty, cold-heartedness and ignorance shown by the pedestrian and even the drivers themselves! Careless in seconds can happen to anyone,it's without we realize it and its not that what we wanted to happen.BUT seeing a wandering kid on street, pretend like no one there then hit-and-run, seeing a critical injured kid lying down on a street but ignoring and just passing by the street like nothing there..i think this is MORE to be BLAMED and this attitude and immorality are actually giving shame to China and its people, not the mother.

I wonder how the kid's parents would go through this..
To the kid, i'm sure there's something good waiting for you "there" :-) As i said, she has no sins at all, just a little kid :-)

New updates:
As informed by the driver, according to China law, if you hit someone and the person injured or handicapped then you will have to pay for the person's treatment cost for life.If the person die, you just need to pay about RMB10000-RMB20000 fine. That was the reason why the driver drove over the kid's body even he realized that the kid was lying down under the back tyre.He wanted the kid to die so that if he arrested, he will only need to pay the fine.Same for the passersby. If they help, they will have to pay for the treatment cost and will be blamed for the accident. How stupid China government is... No wonder their people are immoral and heartless.. materialism replacing morals.

Shocking video - human misbehavior; serious ignorance in China

Last nite, 17th of Oct 2011, i was having my dinner with family at home while watching news on TV3. It started with a shocking video about a chinese kid hit twice by a van and lorry in Guangzhou, China but ignored by pedestrian! She left there for about 10 mins without any help. I was so shock but no words came out from my lips.I just didn't know what to say. I was speechless and my heart was crying.I looked at my 2 years old daughter, i kiss and hug her. That kid is just about my daughter's age. I can't imagine how the kid's mother would go through the situation..

I have no strength to upload the video here. Anyway, i put the link in case you want to watch it. Here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CrCoRu4EWo&feature=related

I don't know it is about human misbehaviour, carelessness, cold-heartedness, morality or whatever you could say but what i know, this is very very very very unacceptable not only for people who watch it but for any mankind history. I can't believe something like this is still happening in such a modern civilization. I remember my trip to Hangzhou last year, what i can say is i'm not surprise if things like that happen in such region. You go there first and you'll know why i'm saying this. Their morality and attitude is very very poor. I'm sorry if my words could hurt my China friends or readers but i'm talking the fact based on self experience and what your people did(in the video) was very heartless and totally out of morality.

Some watchers may put the blame on the kid's parents but to me; NO. Handling a kid is not like handling a bike or car or even a machine. They're growing up and like to try everything, they have mind to think and they're always curious to know this and that. They're physically active and would walk to anywhere they think they should. We are now parents and simply blame other parents not to take care of their kids bla bla bla.. but do us ourselves always obeyed whatever our parents said during our childhood days?? I got 2 rattan bars on my leg but i still wander around with friends on bike.Do you think people would blame me if anything happen to me at that time? NO because i was just a little kid. Do you want to blame my parents not to take a good care of me?? DON'T because they did what they suppose to. So what i'm trying to say here is; it is a normal child behavior to wander around, exploring this and that because that's the way they learn things. No parents on earth would just ignore or neglect their kids. They're always trying to give the best to their kids but we have to understand the confrontation between kids behaviours against parents guidance.

To me, if there is still piece of morality and human kindness in people civilization, things like this wouldn't happen. Even if the parents of the kid were a bit careless in seconds to make sure their kid was still with them at that time, i think she wouldn't be hit if the 1st van's driver still have those values. Or if it was fated that she hit by the van on that day, she wouldn't be hit by the second van or left suffering alone there until 10mins if passers-by still have their morality and human values.

I'm writting this not to harm anyone. This is a good lesson for us to be more alert and sensitive to our surroundings, dare to give help to those who needs help, careful and responsible to our kids everywhere we go and in any situation we are. I could only pray for the best for that kid. If to live is better for her, Ya Allah please saves her, but if to die is better for her, then please take her. She's still a clean kid without any sins at all..

Balqis Potty Train

Yesterday was the first day i tried to potty train Balqis. I don't put on her diapers and tell her "If you want to pee you let me know ok??" but she pee first then only she shout out! It was about 4 to 5 times she pee everywhere in the house. Whoosss~ what a very good girl Balqis :-)

I think it's a protest and she's trying to force me to put on her diaper. "Ok, we'll keep on practicing this for the whole week" i told her.

Then a friend of mine said, maybe she's not ready. But how do i know she's ready or not?? She asked me to watch her pee occurrence. If she dry for few hours means she can hold it. Another sign is when she doesn't like to wear her wet diaper. There are some more signs, maybe i can google later.

If she's not ready then don't force. I think she's right. Cannot force much. When i saw her pull her both knees close to one another, i straight away took her to the bathroom. I asked her to pee but nothing came out. When i put on her pants back, suddenly 'rain' came down...huhuhuhu..

I asked my maid to do the same thing for today and see if it is better than yesterday then i'll just continue. If not, i think i have to stop first and make sure she's really ready for this. Or maybe i can try to find another way.

Bajet Kerajaan Malaysia 2012

Yg swasta tak yah cakap arr, mmg depa reti kaut duit from kitorg jerk.Pastu bawak masuk sbg agihan dalam bajet derang. Bukan bagi, ambik! Cukai penjawat awam RM50-RM100 jerk.Klu lbh pun sket jerk. Tapi kitorg, perhhh bedal pakai percentage! Makin byk kitorg carik duit makin byk derang kutip. Tapi tak pe lah, take into consideration; firm employees were earning 50%-70% more than govt employees. Some more we got a lot of other benefits, bonus, increment, claims as well as employer's contribution.

Kenaikan gaji siling guru dinaikkan sebanyak 37.7% utk siswazah and 39% utk bukan siswazah.Means before this, just about RM6325 utk siswazah, RM3860 utk bukan siswazah. Now is RM8710 utk siswazah, RM5370 utk bukan siswazah.  Dari segi kenaikan gred plak, dulu kena tunggu 20thn baru leh merasa gaji byk tu. Skang kenaikan gred is every 8 years.Means lepas 8thn, leh naik ke DG 44, then after 16 yrs leh naik ke DG 48. Sikit sgt klu gaji siling RM6325. Apa lagi klu bukan siswazah, RM3860. Harga barang makin mahal. Ada tanggungan lagi. Memang kesian la klu byk tu je.Tu pun dekat 20 tahun baru dpt byk tu. So gaji siling naik sket ni ok la. Pastu kenaikan gred every 8 yrs wpun bg aku, better la than before wpun still lama gak. Aku keje 5 tahun dah mcm gaji siling siswazah yg baru dinaikkan tu, derang plak terpaksa bertungkus-lumus 16-20 thn baru dpt byk tu. Aku xleh bayang.

Wpun bg aku still tak berbaloi tp at least byk la sket drp sblm ni. Betul tak penjawat awam? Aku tak tau bape yearly increment derang sblm ni. Tapi of course la lagi sket banding yg baru ni kot. Bagi sektor swasta mcm aku ni klu stakat 2 3 ratus mmg tak berbaloi la, tolak2 tax sme, lebih kurang je jadinya dgn before naik. Tu sb besenya swasta pya increment dlm jumlah percentage lbh tinggi berbanding govt wpun bergantung pada performance. Tax yg kerajaan kenakan utk sektor swasta lbh tinggi berbanding govt yg just around RM50-RM100 je every month.

Yang peruntukkan utk guru sambung blajar tu pun aku rasa mmg patut pun. Budak2 nowadays makin bijak, jadi cikgu pun klu still dgn gaya lama, aku rasa...susah sket la. Parents pun makin choosy skang ni.Of course la, if i would want to send my kids to school, i would send them to school with high reputation which have so many of high quality teachers.

Regarding bonus half months salary that will be paid out by end of december utk penjawat awam tu, aku tak de bende nak pertikaikan.Takde kaitan dgn aku pun.Malah aku menyokong :) Parents aku keje govt, setahu aku dulu2 mana ada bonus half month salary. Bape percent je bonus derang. Aku dibesarkan dlm family yg keje govt dan aku dah rasa mcm mana hidup dlm keluarga yg bergantung pada gaji kerajaan. Mmg kena bajet betul2 sb takut tak cukup. Adik beradik 5 org. Kesian ayah dan mak aku dl. Aku anak sulung. Bila ayah aku bagi 50sen belanja sekolah ms sekolah rendah dl, aku x bising wpun jeles jugak tgk kawan aku bawak seringgit. Aku ada 4 lg adik yg parents aku kena sara. Jadi apa yg aku dpt, aku terima je tanpa byk songeh. So skang bila kerajaan umumkan nak bg half months bonus, aku sokong. Lagi pun bkn slalu nak dpt tu.

Kalau keje swasta, depends pada company. Ada setgh company pakai percentage, ada setengah pakai contractual bonus. Tapi klu percentage pun, gaji pokok derang bg tinggi, so klu 15% pun dah dpt byk.Klu company aku plak, performance bonus mmg every 3months. Klu achieve target 80% chargeability, dpt la 10% utk 3bln keje tu. Then klu capai lg utk next 3months, dapat lg 10%.Then at the end of the year, ada 1 month contractual bonus, plus performace bonus. Means bulan 12 every year konfem dapat 2bln gaji + performance bonus. Leh la nak wat blanje mak ayah aku, adik2 sme pegi melancong skali skala. Lgpun, duit aku bukannya pakai sgt, yg len2 sme husband aku punya tanggungan la hahahaha! leh dak?hehehe.. ye le, gaji dia 2 kali ganda aku, bonus plak 4 bln klu PPA 3, 6 bulan klu PPA 2. 10 bulan klu PPA 1. Jauh kan beza, so dia tanggung sme. hehehe...

In other words, tiada istilah pancing undi utk kami :) hehehehe... Cuma tu yg depa ambik kesempatan cabut tax byk2 from kami. Cess! Bonus 10 bulan, patut dpt RM300K tp disebabkan cukai haprak tu, yg masuk bersih cuma dlm 150K!! Cuba bygkan kes yg mcm ni.Berapa byk kerajaan kaut untung atas seorang drpd kami.

Slalu gak aku dgr rungutan, susah nak berurusan dgn jabatan kerajaan ni. Mcm2 hal, dah la slow, tak efisyen, bagi dokumen, dokumen ilang.. klu call, dekat 10 kali dail tu baru angkat, suara plak mcm tak cukup makan.. mcm2.Aku tak kata org je, mmg aku pun dah banyak kali terkena service yg mcm ni klu berurusan dgn govt agencies..

Jangan marah ye penjawat awam, sesetengah teguran tu bertujuan membina. Kita saling tegur menegur, ada faedahnya. Selamat maju jaya!

Steve Jobs Dies

Steve Jobs, the mastermind behind Apple's iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac and iTunes, has died, Apple said. Jobs was 56.

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today," read a statement by Apple's board of directors. "Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts."

The homepage of Apple's website this evening switched to a full-page image of Jobs with the text, "Steve Jobs 1955-2011."

Clicking on the image revealed the additional text: "Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

Jobs co-founded Apple Computer in 1976 and, with his childhood friend Steve Wozniak, marketed what was considered the world's first personal computer, the Apple II.

Shortly after learning of Jobs' death, Wozniak told ABC News, "I'm shocked and disturbed."
Industry watchers called him a master innovator -- perhaps on a par with Thomas Edison -- changing the worlds of computing, recorded music and communications.

In 2004, he beat back an unusual form of pancreatic cancer, and in 2009 he was forced to get a liver transplant. After several years of failing health, Jobs announced on Aug. 24, 2011 that he was stepping down as Apple's chief executive.

"I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know," Jobs wrote in his letter of resignation. "Unfortunately, that day has come."

One of the world's most famous CEOs, Jobs remained stubbornly private about his personal life, refusing interviews and shielding his wife and their children from public view.

"He's never been a media person," said industry analyst Tim Bajarin, president of Creative Strategies, after Jobs resigned. "He's granted interviews in the context of product launches, when it benefits Apple, but you never see him talk about himself."

The highlights of Jobs's career trajectory are well-known: a prodigy who dropped out of Reed College in Oregon and, at 21, started Apple with Wozniak in his parents' garage. He was a multimillionaire by 25, appeared on the cover of Time magazine at 26, and was ousted at Apple at age 30, in 1984.

In the years that followed, he went into other businesses, founding NeXT computers and, in 1986, buying the computer graphics arm of Lucasfilm, Ltd., which became Pixar Animation Studios.

He was described as an exacting and sometimes fearsome leader, ordering up and rejecting multiple versions of new products until the final version was just right. He said the design and aesthetics of a device were as important as the hardware and software inside.

In 1996, Apple, which had struggled without Jobs, brought him back by buying NeXT. He became CEO in 1997 and put the company on a remarkable upward path.

By 2001 the commercial music industry was on its knees because digital recordings, copied and shared online for free, made it unnecessary for millions of people to buy compact discs.

Jobs took advantage with the iPod -- essentially a pocket-sized computer hard drive with elegantly simple controls and a set of white earbuds so that one could listen to the hours of music one saved on it. He set up the iTunes online music store, and persuaded major recording labels to sell songs for 99 cents each. No longer did people have to go out and buy a CD if they liked one song from it. They bought a digital file and stored it in their iPod.

In 2007, he transformed the cell phone. Apple's iPhone, with its iconic touch screen, was a handheld computer, music player, messaging device, digital wallet and -- almost incidentally -- cell phone. Major competitors, such as BlackBerry, Nokia and Motorola, struggled after it appeared.

By 2010, Apple's new iPad began to cannibalize its original business, the personal computer. The iPad was a sleek tablet computer with a touch screen and almost no physical buttons. It could be used for almost anything software designers could conceive, from watching movies to taking pictures to leafing through a virtual book.

Personal life

Jobs kept a close cadre of friends, Bajarin said, including John Lasseter of Pixar and Larry Ellison of Oracle, but beyond that, shared very little of his personal life with anyone.

But that personal life -- he was given up at birth for adoption, had an illegitimate child, was romantically linked with movie stars -- was full of intrigue for his fan base and Apple consumers.

Jobs and his wife, Laurene Powell, were married in a small ceremony in Yosemite National Park in 1991, lived in Woodside, Calif., and had three children: Reed Paul, Erin Sienna and Eve.

He admitted that when he was 23, he had a child out of wedlock with his high school girlfriend, Chris Ann Brennan. Their daughter, Lisa Brennan Jobs, was born in 1978.

He had a biological sister, Mona Simpson, the author of such well-known books as "Anywhere But Here." But he did not meet Simpson until they were adults and he was seeking out his birth parents. Simpson later wrote a book based on their relationship. She called it "A Regular Guy."

Fortune magazine reported that Jobs denied paternity of Lisa for years, at one point swearing in a court document that he was infertile and could not have children. According to the report, Chris Ann Brennan collected welfare for a time to support the child until Jobs later acknowledged Lisa as his daughter.
There were other personal details that emerged over the years, as well.

At Reed, Jobs became romantically involved with the singer Joan Baez, according to Elizabeth Holmes, a friend and classmate. In "The Second Coming of Steve Jobs," Holmes tells biographer Alan Deutschman that Jobs broke up with his serious girlfriend to "begin an affair with the charismatic singer-activist." Holmes confirmed the details to ABC News.

Jobs' health and Apple's health

Enigmatic and charismatic, Jobs said little about himself. But then his body began to fail him.
In 2004, he was forced to say publicly he had a rare form of pancreatic cancer. In 2009, it was revealed that he had quietly gone to a Memphis hospital for a liver transplant.

He took three medical leaves from Apple. He did not share details.

In 2009, sources said, members of Apple's board of directors had to persuade him to disclose more about his health as "a fiduciary issue," interwoven with the health of the company.

He was listed in March as 109th on the Forbes list of the world's billionaires, with a net worth of about $8.3 billion. After selling Pixar animation studios to The Walt Disney Company in 2006, he became a Disney board member and the company's largest shareholder. Disney is the parent company of ABC News.

Analysts said Apple performed well during Jobs' absence, partly because he was available for big decisions and partly because his chief lieutenant, Tim Cook, was the hands-on manager even when Jobs was there.

The company has a history of bouncing back. In January 2009, after he announced his second medical leave, Apple stock dropped to $78.20 per share. But it quickly recovered and became one of the most successful stocks on Wall Street. On one day in the summer of 2011, with the stock hitting the $400 level, Apple briefly passed ExxonMobil as the world's most valuable company.

First day in new office

03.10.2011 is the first day aku kat office baru. Waahhh bestnyer! Bkn pe, sb first day mana de keje. Introduction, induction, bende2 alah tu jerk.. Yg plg best part2 yg dpt barang tu. Laptop baru, headphone, handphone, sim card, pens... later on, business card, access card, jaket bla bla bla..

2nd day pun aku habiskan masa utk prepare sme system, access system yg perlu ada, isi form insurans la, itu ini.. and of course check for documentation sket2 la. Company ni company Denmark and derang xde local client, semua Europe, US and Canada. So semua counter partner kitorg from denmark and based sana la.

Derang sme kebanyakkannya dah veteran and very high experience. Sorang tu pegang 2 3 SAP modules. Ada setengah tu sampai 5 modules. Org2 kat sini ckp mmg derang sme very expert. Lagi aku cuak. Rasa kerdil plak. Ye lah, aku ni baru nak masuk 5 thn experience. Tu pun stakat arif MM.Ada la sket SD tp beginner level je yg tu.

Hmm...tp x kisah la, janji masyukkk every month. Haa lg 1 yg aku suke psl company ni, bonus is every 3 months!! based on chargeability. Utk aku budak baru ni, first 3 months ni aku kena achieve 40% chargeability je utk dpt 10% fix bonus bulan Dec nnt. Then utk next 3 mths, 60%. Lepas tu haa..mcm yg len2 jugak la, 80%.  Tapi aku x la terkejar2 sgt. Aku xnak le keje bagai nak rak sgt sampai stress ke pe.. rilek2 je..hehehe.. bulan2 masuk tu pun dah lbh dari cukup. Slow and steady la.

Hari ni 3rd day aku kat sini. Access system dah dpt kecuali setengah client blm dpt lg. Dah betul2 start keje nnt, aku rasa tah sempat tah tak aku nak update blog tiap2 hari. Jangan kata tiap2 hari, tiap2 minggu pun blm tentu..
